For Immediate ReleaseSusan Neckes Elected Co-President of Needham Education FoundationThirteen Others Elected to NEF Board of DirectorsNeedham, Mass. - May 23, 2005 - The Needham Education Foundation announced today that Susan Neckes has been elected one of its two co-presidents for 2005-2006. Thirteen members of the Needham community have agreed to serve on NEF's Board of Directors. Neckes, the parent of three children in the Needham public school system, is a management consultant and a co-founder of a health care technology and services company. She succeeds Judy Safian, who is completing a two-year term as NEF co-president, and she joins Mimi Segel as co-president, who is entering her second year in that position. The thirteen elected to three-year terms as board members were Ward Caswell, June Ferestien, Lynn Gotwals, Dan Hudder, Jeff Larsen, Julia Lipman, Michael London, Jean McNamara, Seth Medalie, Adam Murphy, Karen Price, Caroline Sabin and Sandra Walters. In addition, incumbent board members Kathy D'Addesio, John Genova, Bob Kenner, Beth Kramer and Jerry Wasserman were elected to additional one-year terms. Their terms begin in September.
